PURE SPORT IS PLAYED WITH CREATIVITY, INTENSITY, FLAIR AND SPORTSMANSHIP, FREE OF CORRUPTION AND DRUGS.
FOR AS LONG AS WE EXIST WE WILL FIGHT FOR THE TRUE SPIRIT OF COMPETITION.
Sport is special. It is one of the most unifying forces on our planet, a common language spoken everywhere that transcends cultural barriers. It can divide a town and also unite a nation. It has halted wars for precious hours and fought oppression where governments have failed. Sport represents the ultimate in physical competition. But more than that, it often demonstrates the pinnacle of our human and social values.
Sport prepares us for life. It teaches children the passion and hard work required to succeed and also the grace and dignity required when we don’t. Sport brings out the best in our world.
But sport, like anything else, is susceptible to corruption. And when sport is tarnished, when it's exploited and conducted with dishonesty, its power for good is put at risk.
Pure Sport exists to fight for and protect this, the sport we love.
Pure Sport stands for all that is good and fights against all that is bad. We believe in the love of the game over the love of fame. We believe in always playing hard but fair. We believe that passion should never be confused with anger. We believe that a level playing field means every athlete is clean and driven by desire not drugs. We believe that discrimination and corruption have no place in any team or arena.
We believe in celebrating sportsmanship and true champions.
Pure Sport is competition played with intensity, flair, creativity and sportsmanship. Pure Sport is competition free of gamesmanship, corruption and cheating in any form. For as long as we exist, we will fight for the true spirit of competition.
We will always believe in Pure Sport.
Like Ben Johnson 25 years ago, athletes are still using PED’s. Why? We believe it’s because of the lack of support and education. CHOOSE THE RIGHT TRACK is a petition to create an Athlete’s Support Council – an independent place to turn to when doping seems like the answer to better performance. We want to protect all sport from the destruction of drugs.
Watch Ben Johnson talk about the life changing decisions he made 25 years ago and question why athletes are still doping today.
By standing together we can make a real difference to the future of sport.
Please share our message so we can continue to fight for the true spirit of competition.
Join our global movement to eradicate doping from sport by putting pressure on the IOC to set up an Athlete Support Council. 25 years is long enough.

On 24th September 1988 at the Seoul Olympics I crossed the line in the men’s 100m final in 9.79 seconds, making me Olympic champion and world record holder. I’d finally realised my lifetime dream.
